For over 150 years, an area of
not more than 5000 square
metres in the Blue Mountains of
Jamaica, has been
cultivated to produce arguably the finest tasting coffee in world. But don’t take our word for that bold statement. We know that part of the process of producing exceptional coffee is in the roasting and that’s why we have partnered with the number 1 roastery in Canada. Nevertheless, the final prove must be in the taste. To this end we invite you to taste the difference for yourself.

Cultivation of Coffee in
Tanzania was introduced from
Ethiopia in the 16th century and
is recognised as the country’s
largest export crop making it a
significant part of their
economy. Coffee production in
Tanzania peaks at
approximately 40,000 metric
tonnes annually and mostly
consists of the Arabica coffee
bean.
Similar to other coffee growing
regions around the world,
Tanzanian coffee is grown in
mountainous regions which
consists of 11 production zones.
In addition to the Arabica bean,
the Robusta bean is also
cultivated in the Northern
regions and makes up 30% of
bean production.
Located in the South of Tanzania
in the Ruvuma region, coffee is
mainly grown by small farmers
who own plots of land ranging
from 0.5 to 3 hectares. Ruvuma
Coffee has been cultivated in the
Ruvuma region of Tanzania since
the early 20th century, where the
first coffee plants were introduced
by Catholic missionaries in the
1920s and 1930s.
Ruvuma Coffee is described as a
sweetly and pungently bright
complex. Honey, flowers, black
currant, roasted cacao nib, and a
pungent hint of pine in aroma and
cup. Sweet, softly lively acidity,
plush, velvety mouthfeel. Clean,
rich, with a slightly drying finish.
Coffee was first introduced to
Haiti in the early 1700s
following its colonisation under
French rule.
For many years, Coffee formed
the backbone of the Haitian
economy; unfortunately, due to
natural disasters, political
unrest and economic turmoil
caused by sanctions, demand for
Haitian coffee declined.
However, due to the
implementation of fair-trade
policies, small-scale, multi-
generational Haitian
farmers have benefitted due to
increased
demand from socially-aware
Western and European consumers
and this has seen a rise in demand
for Haitian coffee.
Available in dark roast only, the
Savane Zombie coffee is grown in
one of the highest regions in Haiti
that is suitable coffee cultivation.
This coffee reveals a deep, rich
chocolatey flavour with notes of
caramel, citrus and a mild acidity,
which makes it an easy to drink
coffee with great balance and a
superb taste.
